The nominations for the 2008 Ozone/Tjdjs awards show were announced today and what a joke they are. I wont break down every category and their nominees I will just use a few examples to make my point. First of all let me tell you about Ozone magazine. Ozone magazine is run by a homely looking white woman named Julia Beverly.
She has built this small magazine up to be the number 1 underground hip hop magazine in the south. The magazine is full of pictures of major stars that she has taken mostly herself at every hip hop event in the south. there are a few articles in the magazine of no substance at all. She does not support Indie artists at all. Overall the magazine is a joke as well. Here is a little white woman that thinks she runs Hip hop in the south. Julia and TJ throw the awards show to make money on ticket sales to the event. Do not waste your money!! On to the nominations And the joke they are.

Bigga Rankin–WTF is this? He a radio DJ who doesnt do much- RIGGED NOMINATION
DJ Drama– Has done nothing since he got busted-RIGGED NOMINATION
DJ Khaled–Uh we the best get the fuck outta here,why?-RIGGED NOMINATION
DJ Q45–Who the fuck is this?? Does anyone know-DOUBLE RIGGED NOMINATION
Greg Street–Commercial Radio dj-might be only legit one on list
Tony Neal-?????????? Who the FUCK IS THIS-TRIPLE RIGGED NOMINATION

DJ 31 Degreez -Dominated southern mixtapes this year why isnt he on the list?

DJ Chuck T-Mr. Publicity, He leaked Lil Wayne tape so Julia and TJ boycotted him?

DJ Fade Cashville- Released some of the best Mixtapes ever this past year,His intros are the standard by which all other DJs should be measured.

DJ Technique-His mixtape series are highly coveted and followed

The Empire-His Drought is over series reached the far ends of the earth

I could go on and break down the whole nomination card but I cant stand it I just wanted to give a example of how fucked up and rigged these awards are. Do not waste your time on this show. And if you are not on the RIGGED nominations then you can still hold your head up high knowing that the Ozone awards are a total JOKE!!!!

Lil Wayne aka the Gayest rapper alive cops a plea on Shade 45. DJ Drama interviews Lil Wayne about the comments he made to Foundation Magazine where he said fuck mixtape DJs. It seems he has started back pedaling, and wants to say all his comments were meant for DJ Empire.

That is not what Lil Wayne said in the initial Foundation Magazine interview, he said he started the mixtape game and fuck all mixtape DJs and he dont know no mixtape DJs. DJ Drama was all over Lil Wayne’s tip in the Shade 45 interview.  The entire interview seemed very rehearsed and Wayne was very careful what he said. At the start of the Drama interview Lil Wayne got real bold and said if you don’t like him, then see him in the streets and he will bite your face off. That was laughable, Lil Wayne you aren’t Mike Tyson, you scare nobody with your tuff talk.

On another note he tried to clown DJ’s that use serato scratch, like he didn’t know what it was, saying they put a Mac computer on top of the turntables. What a dumbass, thats what DJ’s who cannot get vinyl use these days. Serato is very respectable. On the other hand if you remember the last BET award show, DJ Drama was using CD players, he was pushing buttons, that is not respectable except maybe as a backup for real turntables.

All and all I would have to say that this staged interview was a bunch of gay bullshit. Lil Wayne copped a plea to try and get back on the good side of DJ’s . We at Hip Hop Spy say don’t play this ungrateful man kissing rapper anymore. He has bitten the hand that feeds him and he needs to learn the lesson that without the DJ’s who play your music and put your troll face on a million mixtapes you would be forgotten very quickly. Lil Wayne is not the best rapper alive, he was never the best rapper alive and he never will be the best rapper alive. His CD Tha Carter III has already leaked, and is available all over the internet for free download. I have listened to it and it was a big yawn. Don’t waste your money.
