Jermaine Dupree, better known as JD, or Janet Jacksons bitch has recently made comments about the state of the music business dealing with DJs. JD says that times have changed. Artists or music executives would make a track and promote it, then pass it to a DJ who would take it and continue to continue to promote it. Now, JD says, DJ’s are going in the opposite direction. Instead of taking your track and promoting it, they instead are trying to give you a track or a CD. JD basically said that he didnt need djs to promote artists at his label. After the Lil Wayne fallout you would think that some of these shot callers would have better sense then to piss off the DJ’s even more. Obviously not, We at Hiphopspy predicted that it would someday be major labels versus the indie artists, That day is fast approaching. Can you imagine if all the dj’s stopped playing the tracks from the major artists in the clubs, and stopped putting them on mixtapes and all they had left was the radio stations. HmmmmJermaine Dupree sounds like he doesnt appreciate DJ’s either.Hmmmmmm
