We have attended many hip hop awards shows in the past couple of years.The vast majority of them are setup to make the promoters money. For example the mixtapeawardsonline.com were started by justo who was killed in a car wreck a few years back. These awards are based on internet nomination and internet voting. The catch is that anyone can vote over and over again, by just creating email accounts and voting thousands of times. We receive hundreds of pathetic emails from the nominees asking us to vote for them. Would a real star do that? We think not. The last show they had ended in a near riot where there was fighting at the show, typical? We think so. We advise you to avoid this pathetic show.Another weak show that is setup the same way is the southern entertainment awards. It is supposed to represent the southern hip hop culture. It is another show that we would rate low budget avoid at all costs. Another hiphop awards show that is pitiful is ozone/tjsdjs awards. This show is a complete setup for the the nominees and winners. Nobody knows who nominates the nominees .We advise you to avoid all these shows and do not waste your money or time voting. None of these shows show any class at all and they are all setup to just make the promoters money.
