Papoose will be dropping his newest mixtape, “Build Or Destroy,” this Monday.The mixtape features brand new Papoose exclusives as well as the ones recently released. After being dropped from his previous label before he even dropped a official CD. He said he was asked to be let out of his contract because of creative differences with the label heads. So now papoose is back in the indie world. Papoose is the second biggest indie artist in NYC behind new industry giant ST Laz. Papoose has his fan base but we doubt he will ever be anything but a mixtape star,especially when he is still letting played out kay slay do his mixtapes and guide his career. Prove us wrong

Snoop Dogg was handed a desk appearance ticket Wednesday night when he was caught smoking marijuana outside of a Manhattan nightclub, according to the New York Post.”He did not get arrested. He received a ticket for possession of marijuana,” said Snoop’s attorney, Donald Etra. “We are contesting the ticket.”Snoop is currently on probation for five years stemming from a no-contest plea in April 2007 to marijuana- and gun-possession charges after being arrested at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, Calif., in October 2006.

A judge this week ruled that 50 Cent has to pay a New York Post photographer an undisclosed amount of money after a settling a 2003 lawsuit, the Post is reporting.Jim Alcorn, who was a Post photographer at the time, was knocked over by security for 50 outside of a jewelry store after he attempted to take photos of the rapper, who had just purchased an $18,000 watch.Alcorn was taken to the hospital to treat neck and jaw injuries.“A settlement was reached and all parties are satisfied,” said Alcorn’s lawyer, Sanford Rubenstein.“It’s a legal issue that’s been settled,” said a rep for 50.

 Plies is doing a reality show and apparently the main deal is you have to have a big rump roast in the back. Tryouts had all the girls showing their backside. The “Bust It Baby” Reality Show held auditions over a week ago and I guess it will be on VH1 or something. What is Plies is doing on the show, hosting or judging? We at hiphopspy dont know.
